A control valve throttles flow continuously in response to a signal from a controller, instead of just opening and closing. DWP stocks Fisher Vee-Ball rotary control valves (V150, V200, V300 in 1.5 to 12 inch), Fisher ED, ET and HPS sliding-stem globe valves, and Fisher 8560 butterfly control valves, most fitted with 667, 1051, 1052, 1061 or 2052 actuators and some with FIELDVUE DVC6020 or DVC6200 positioners. DeZURIK VPB and RCV actuated valves, Neles Jamesbury rotary control valves and Copes-Vulcan 6 inch WCB globe valves round out the collection. Conditions are new, rebuilt and used.

Matching a Fisher control valve

The nameplate on the actuator yoke carries the valve type, size, pressure class (CL150, CL300, CL600), body material (CG8M, CF8M, WCB), trim, the actuator type and size, bench set or supply pressure, and the positioner model. Match type, size, class and actuator size and the valve fits the line. Positioner signal (3 to 15 psi, 4 to 20 mA, HART) matters for the loop, so tell us what your controller sends.

Condition at DWP. New means factory new and unused, in the original packaging where it still exists. New surplus means an unused storeroom spare: bought new by a plant, shelved and never installed, sometimes out of its box. Rebuilt means the unit was disassembled, inspected, worn parts replaced, reassembled and tested; a rebuilt storeroom spare was rebuilt and then shelved, never run since. Used means removed from service, inspected, tested where the unit allows it, and photographed as-is so the photos show the exact unit that ships.
