Row of Goulds ANSI process pumps on the DWP warehouse rack

Collection: Centrifugal Pumps

Shop All Centrifugal Pumps

Centrifugal pumps move liquid with a rotating impeller; DWP stocks ANSI process pumps from Goulds (3196, 3175, 3180, 3700), Sulzer and Ahlstrom APT paper stock pumps, Flowserve and Durco Mark 3, Worthington FRBH and CNG, Grundfos NB and CR, plus Gusher, Summit 2196, Bell & Gossett, KSB and Allis-Chalmers units, in cast iron, 316 stainless and CD4MCu, new, rebuilt and used. Sizes on the floor run from 1x1.5-6 up to 24x24-28.

Reading the nameplate

The size is written suction x discharge x nominal impeller, so a 4x6-13 has a 4 inch discharge, a 6 inch suction and a 13 inch maximum impeller. The impeller in the pump may be trimmed smaller than nominal; the nameplate or a caliper on the eye tells you the actual diameter, and that number decides the head. Also note the casing material code (316SS, CF8M, DI, CD4M), the RPM (1180, 1780 or 3550) and the horsepower. Goulds 3196 frames come as STi, MTi, LTi and XLT; Durco Mark 3 sizes are written 2K3x1.5-10 style. Match all of it and the pump drops in without piping changes.

Condition at DWP. New means factory new and unused, in the original packaging where it still exists. New surplus means an unused storeroom spare: bought new by a plant, shelved and never installed, sometimes out of its box. Rebuilt means the unit was disassembled, inspected, worn parts replaced, reassembled and tested; a rebuilt storeroom spare was rebuilt and then shelved, never run since. Used means removed from service, inspected, tested where the unit allows it, and photographed as-is so the photos show the exact unit that ships. Every condition carries the 30-day money-back guarantee.

Same-day processing on orders before 2 PM Central (parcel) or 10:30 AM Central (freight), freight arranged, PO and tax-exempt accepted.
