A ball valve closes with a quarter turn of a bored ball, giving a tight shutoff and a straight-through bore when open. DWP stocks about 50 of them: Fisher V150, V200, V300 and V500 Vee-Ball segmented ball valves (1 to 12 inch, CL150 and CL300, CG8M) and Fisher V100 CL600, Neles Jamesbury R21, 5150 and RECA series with B1CU and B1JU actuators, Jamesbury 7150 threaded valves, DeZURIK VPB actuated valves with PMV P5 or ABB positioners, PBM 316L sanitary and three-way valves, plus Tiger Valve trunnion, Emico, Flo-Tite, FNW and Bray Controls units. Sizes run from 1/2 inch to 14 inch.

Manual, actuated or Vee-Ball

A full-port manual ball valve isolates. An actuated ball valve with a spring-return or double-acting pneumatic actuator opens and closes on air. A Vee-Ball, with a V-notched segment, is a control valve that throttles. Check the tag for size, pressure class, body and seat material (PTFE, Xtreme, metal seat), end connection and, on actuated valves, the actuator model, size and fail position.

Condition at DWP. New means factory new and unused, in the original packaging where it still exists. New surplus means an unused storeroom spare: bought new by a plant, shelved and never installed, sometimes out of its box. Rebuilt means the unit was disassembled, inspected, worn parts replaced, reassembled and tested; a rebuilt storeroom spare was rebuilt and then shelved, never run since. Used means removed from service, inspected, tested where the unit allows it, and photographed as-is so the photos show the exact unit that ships.
